This wonderful collection of Italian Sterling Silver Miniatures are an ORO-VERDE-NH. COM EXCLUSIVE and are available in the United States through our website and at our retail store- EXETER JEWELERS INC. 101 Water St., in Exeter, NH. These incredible representations are from a twenty year old Italian company that has seen exceptional success abroad with these figurines. The production process is as follows. First, the Italian artists study the form of each animal and then recreate this form into a wax prototype detailing the unique features of each individual animal. Then the Sterling Silver is set into the mold and the animal is reproduced. After release from the mold the labor intensive hand enameling process of combining and overlapping colors is done by these remarkable artists. Once they are baked in the kilns, the pieces are lastly hand finished and treated to make each animal less prone to tarnishing. Most of the following collections are also available in plain Sterling Silver and some are available in a galvanized version that is Sterling Silver that has been blackened in some areas. Along with the animals collectibles there are also some styles of key holders and a few styles of letter openers which we shall introduce in the near future. Because each piece are individually cast there will be fluctuations in the gram weight of each casting even of identical items, so all weights given will be approximate only and the pictures shown are not representative of the actual size of the item displayed.
